Another day exploring the web
OK, I now have a MySpace.com site. It seems cool, but everyone on there seems contradictory. There was one (I will not use names) that has, under her reasons for being there, "Friends, Serious Relationships, Dating", yet she states in her "About Me" section that she has no desire to meet anyone, she just wanted a place where she could blog. Hello? Does the mind not boggle at the vapid state in which she must live? There are hundreds of sites, like this one, where she could go and blow off some steam without the pitfalls accompanying a place like MySpace.com. I like feedback, but do not really want to make an impression that I am out there to date or "hook up" as I am very happily married. This blog is therapy for me. I want to know that I am not alone in my own mind. I want real people that can make decisions for themselves. And I want to keep kind of a weekly journal or diary where I don't have to worry about hurting your feelings. If I do, don't come back to this blog. I make no appologies for my opinions. Don't make any for yours. If I don't like yuors, it doesn't mean you are wrong, it just means I don't agree. That is not a bad thing. If everyone blindly followed a single idea, thinking it was right without question, where would we be? Question everyone's reasons for everything they do. It's like sit-ups for your intellect. And don't forget to even question yourself and your beliefs. Are they truly yours, or are they just what you were taught?
